I read the English Dictionary in short sections, comment on it, make bad jokes, and sometimes sing little songs. I hope it’s more entertaining than just reading the dictionary alone. It’s an evolving project so the letter ”A” had lower quality, plus less commenting and jokes.

One possible explanation for why some people have an epicanthic fold is because it "...is often associated with greater levels of fat deposition around the eyeball. The adipose tissue is thought to provide greater insulation for the eye and sinuses from the effects of cold, especially from freezing winds, and to represent an adaptation to cold climates."

#E108 (entorhinal to entrecôte)
Wednesday Jan 31, 2024
Wednesday Jan 31, 2024
I read from entorhinal to entrecôte.
The entorhinal cortex seems pretty important. It's "a widespread network hub for memory, navigation, and the perception of time."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entorhinal_cortex
"Entrechat" really just means "intertwined". I'm still not sure about the "capriola".
But I did learn that "capriola intrecciata" in Italian could also mean "braided somersault" so that's fun.
The word of the episode is "entr'acte".
