I read the English Dictionary in short sections, comment on it, make bad jokes, and sometimes sing little songs. I hope it’s more entertaining than just reading the dictionary alone. It’s an evolving project so the letter ”A” had lower quality, plus less commenting and jokes.

So as far as I can tell, ancient people thought that fern seeds were invisible (in truth they're spores and too tiny for the human eye to see) and that started a whole thing through the ages of people thinking that the fern seed would make you invisible.
